Dr Omotola Folorunsho is an environmental analytical chemist with expertise in the detection, monitoring, and remediation of emerging contaminants and persistent pollutants in water and soil systems. At Ecorem Tech, she leads analytical validation and environmental monitoring, ensuring all technologies are underpinned by robust, evidence-based science.
She holds a PhD in Environmental Analytical Chemistry from Coventry University, with research focused on the occurrence, behaviour, and fate of contaminants including PFAS, pesticides, pharmaceuticals, and trace metals.
Dr Folorunsho brings advanced capability in analytical method development and optimisation, with hands-on expertise in LC-MS, GC-MS, ICP-OES, and UV-Vis spectroscopy. Her work enables precise contaminant profiling and performance validation across both R&D and consultancy projects.
At Ecorem Tech, she plays a critical role in validating the efficacy and environmental safety of bio-innovation platforms, including EcoHydro-Break™ and EcoAqua-Clear™. She also supports environmental assessments and sustainability initiatives, ensuring compliance, data integrity, and measurable impact across all deployments.
She has contributed to research in nature-based treatment systems and has published in peer-reviewed journals, with recognition from leading scientific bodies.
“Analytical science turns complexity into clarity—enabling solutions that are measurable, scalable, and impactful.” – Dr Folorunsho
