ENVIRONMENTAL BIOTECHNOLOGY. ENGINEERED FOR SCALE.
We are developing SEACoRe™ to unlock greater value from seaweed through controlled, scalable bioprocessing.

Seaweed is a renewable biological resource with significant potential across the circular bioeconomy. But unlocking greater value from marine biomass requires more than access to feedstock.
Species, composition, moisture, seasonality and processing history can influence what can be recovered, and how efficiently.
SEACoRe™ is being developed to translate that biological variability into a controlled, reproducible and scalable bioprocess.

Understand what enters the process.
Characterise feedstock variability across species, composition, condition and form to establish a reliable basis for processing.

Engineer consistency into the process.
Translate variable marine biomass through controlled, reproducible bioprocessing designed for recovery and scale.

Turn processing into value pathways.
Recover differentiated fractions and create pathways toward higher-value industrial and circular bioeconomy applications.

THE PLATFORM
SEACoRe™ is Ecorem Tech’s flagship circular marine bioprocessing platform, being developed to unlock greater value from seaweed through controlled, modular and scalable processing.
Designed around the inherent variability of marine biomass, SEACoRe™ integrates feedstock understanding, controlled bioprocessing, separation and fraction recovery within a flexible process architecture. The platform is being developed to transform variable seaweed biomass into consistent, recoverable fractions with pathways toward higher-value applications across industrial biotechnology, fermentation, sustainable materials and the circular bioeconomy.
FROM FEASIBILITY TO SCALE
SEACoRe™ is progressing through a structured technology-development journey from laboratory feasibility through process validation and into pilot translation. Each stage is designed to build the evidence required for the next: reproducibility, operating envelope, fraction recovery, material and resource balance, critical equipment requirements and scale-up assumptions.
The objective is not simply to demonstrate that seaweed can be processed. It is to establish whether that processing can become controlled, repeatable, resource-efficient and ultimately scalable, creating the technical and engineering foundation for future demonstration and commercial deployment.
