DEVELOPMENT & EVIDENCE

BUILT THROUGH EVIDENCE.

NOT AN ASSUMPTION.

SEACoRe™ is being advanced through a structured technology-development programme designed to progressively reduce scientific, process, engineering and commercial uncertainty.

Building on initial laboratory feasibility, development is now focused on strengthening process understanding and translating the technology toward pilot-scale validation, generating the evidence required to understand reproducibility, recovery performance, resource requirements and the engineering basis for subsequent scale-up.

PROGRESS IS DEFINED BY EVIDENCE, NOT SIMPLY BY INCREASING SCALE.

THE EVIDENCE WE ARE BUILDING.

FEEDSTOCK UNDERSTANDING

FEEDSTOCK UNDERSTANDING

FEEDSTOCK UNDERSTANDING

Understand how species, composition, condition and form influence process behaviour and recovery performance.

PROCESS REPRODUCIBILITY

FEEDSTOCK UNDERSTANDING

FEEDSTOCK UNDERSTANDING

Determine whether defined processing conditions can deliver sufficiently consistent performance across comparable runs.

OPERATING ENVELOPE

FEEDSTOCK UNDERSTANDING

OPERATING ENVELOPE

Establish the operating conditions within which the process can perform effectively, controllably and reproducibly.

FRACTION RECOVERY

MATERIAL & RESOURCE BALANCE

OPERATING ENVELOPE

Determine the material streams recovered, their characteristics and how recovery responds to feedstock and processing conditions.

MATERIAL & RESOURCE BALANCE

MATERIAL & RESOURCE BALANCE

MATERIAL & RESOURCE BALANCE

Track material flows and progressively understand the resources required as processing moves toward larger-scale operation.

ENGINEERING BASIS

MATERIAL & RESOURCE BALANCE

MATERIAL & RESOURCE BALANCE

Convert scientific and pilot evidence into process requirements, critical equipment needs and scale-up assumptions for subsequent engineering.

PILOT TRANSLATION

PILOT TRANSLATION

PILOT TRANSLATION

Pilot translation brings the evidence streams together, testing whether process performance can be reproduced at materially larger scale while generating the material, resource and engineering evidence required for the next development decision.

SEACoRe™ DEVELOPMENT JOURNEY

FROM SCIENTIFIC FEASIBILITY TO PILOT TRANSLATION

SEACoRe™ is progressing through a structured technology-development pathway, from laboratory feasibility through process validation and into pilot translation.

Backed by early-stage innovation support and advancing through the AberInnovation Solutions Catalyst programme, the platform is now focused on generating the reproducibility, process, recovery, material and resource evidence required to establish a defensible pathway toward TRL 4 and future scale-up.
