Dr Nosa Omoregbe Obayagbona is an environmental microbiologist and bio-innovation specialist with over a decade of experience in microbial solutions for pollution control, ecosystem restoration, and sustainable development. As Director of Environmental Microbiology & Bio-Product Innovation at Ecorem Tech, he leads the company’s microbial R&D strategy, driving the development of scalable, nature-based technologies for environmental remediation.
He holds a PhD in Environmental Management, with expertise in hydrocarbon-degrading microorganisms, applied environmental microbiology, and bioremediation system design.
Dr Obayagbona brings deep technical capability in translating microbial science into field-ready applications. His work spans the isolation and deployment of hydrocarbonoclastic organisms, development of bio-based remediation products, and environmental risk assessment, supporting effective responses to complex pollution challenges.
At Ecorem Tech, he is responsible for advancing core bio-innovation pipelines, aligning laboratory research with real-world deployment across diverse environmental contexts.
