Morufat is a biotechnology specialist with expertise spanning applied research, biological process development, experimental design and scientific validation, helping translate biological understanding into practical and increasingly reproducible technology solutions.

As Ecorem Tech’s  Senior Innovation Lead, she leads scientific innovation and applied biotechnology development across the company’s research and technology programmes. Alongside technology development, she contributes to Ecorem Tech’s Advisory & Technical Services, supporting organisations with biotechnology assessment, applied R&D, experimental programme design, biological process evaluation and the scientific validation of emerging environmental biotechnology solutions.

Her work provides an important bridge between scientific discovery and technology development — transforming promising biological opportunities into structured experimental programmes capable of generating the evidence required for technical progression and scale-up.

Within SEACoRe™, Morufat serves as Scientific Lead for the pilot-development programme, coordinating experimental development and scientific validation as the platform progresses from laboratory feasibility through process validation and toward pilot-scale evidence.
