Dr Anthony Esimajemite Futughe is an environmental scientist, Chartered Scientist, and Chartered Environmentalist with over 15 years of experience across the UK and Nigeria. As Founder & CEO of Ecorem Tech, he leads the company’s strategic direction, innovation pipeline, and commercialisation of eco-biotechnologies addressing critical environmental and public health challenges.
He holds a PhD in Environmental Science from Middlesex University London, with expertise in bioremediation, environmental microbiology, and contaminated land systems. His work has delivered high-impact outcomes across government, industry, and biotech, including microbial remediation projects achieving over 70% reduction in environmental liabilities.
Dr Futughe brings a strong track record in applying science to real-world challenges, including technical leadership in post-oil spill environmental advocacy, shaping regulatory response and community-focused remediation strategies.
He is a member of the Institution of Environmental Science, Society for the Environment, and the Royal Society of Biology, and a Fellow of the Institute of Management Consultants.
